THE MURAL SHOP SHIPPING, INSURANCE & RETURNS POLICIES

 

International Shipments:

For any international shipments, a commercial shipping invoice will be produced that may in some cases represent the cost of raw materials only. The receiver will be responsible for any applicable taxes, duties or other costs as assessed by the relevant customs or government agencies in the country of receipt.

Insurance Cover:

Customers purchasing murals and door wraps on our films are automatically covered up to the value of AU$1000 replacement value.

Delivery of fragile Toughened Glass Splashbacks, Glass Murals, Outdoor Murals, Mosaics, Tile Murals and Strips all require additional Transit Insurance up to the wholesale value of AU$10,000.  In addition, protective packaging and courier handling fees all of which are included in the cost of your sale price.

Any extra insurances on very large orders over the wholesale value of AU$10,000 may be arranged subject to acceptance by our Freight Agents underwriters and subject to the terms and conditions of their cover; in which case we will be in touch with you.

All Process and Delivery Times:

Please see each product page’s black product info boxes for delivery times.  A ”Skip designs and read more product info” button can also be found adjacent to each products’ Price Calculator.

Firstly, delivery times are subject to a timely reciept of your Customer Approval Form.   

Given all of our products are custom made as low-waste design, and not mass-manufactured and warehoused, we will email you your Customer Approval Form for you to check and sign off on all before sending Purchase Orders to our Suppliers.  

Secondly, delivery times are then subject to our Suppliers and Freight Company time frames. Our International Freight Agents will advise you when your purchase is on its way. You will receive a Tracking Number for you to monitor.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Larger Glass, Tile and Outdoor Mural items over 1M2 may arrive on a pallet to protect against damage in transit. In this instance, please dispose of the pallet’s timber in an environmentally conscious manner, i.e. for your BBQ.  *Please, do not attempt to send it back to us as this will incur extra fees to you.

Disclaimer: Due to the pandemic, and global disruption within the freight industry, supply chains and customs, product delivery times are subject to change.  Please plan ahead until we all get through this.  Our focus is that your Mural is beautifully produced and arrives safely at your door.

Returns:

Since our products are custom-made to client specifications, we are unable to accept returns due to a change of mind. Naturally, damaged items covered by Transit Insurance or our Professional Indemnity Insurance will be replaced following the same processes as outlined above.
