Who is The Mural Shop for?

Who created The Mural Shop?
Sharron Tancred, is an artist, illustrator, graphic designer, interior decorator, dementia design expert and art tech innovator. Most of the artworks you see are Sharron’s creations. Sharron’s lifelong question has been what art is and what art does? Everything that you see now is the outcome of decades of learning an exploration.
Sharron exhibited at two home shows a year for 10 years. She found that people were asking her for products she did not have-yet: Art Wallpaper, a Ceiling Mural, bathroom tile murals, or glass wall art for room dividers. Other home show visitors wanted large outdoor murals for pool walls and fences, mosaic art for feature walls and splashback murals. So Sharron decided to take a big deep breath an be very patient with herself while she endured a massive learning curve in finishes, printing and all the technology, including e-commerce, to bring you all of these products in one incredible online shop!
Then, as a result, in her associated business Tailored Artworks, she pivoted in 2023 to finally specialise in what art does for well-being. The outcomes, Art for Health for providers of Health Care, Dementia-friendly design for Aged Care providers, and commercial murals for corporates. Where are you located?
Our artist and founder lives at Murrumba Downs in Brisbane Australia and works from her home office and studio.
Our suppliers are in Brisbane an Melbourne while our incredible World Class Mosaic manufacturer is in India.
Because we believe in low-waste design and are not mass-produced and warehoused, but purpose-driven, our online shop ships direct from our suppliers to you! In this way, they package and deliver our products in a streamlined process you can rely on.

The Mural Shop makes luxury décor affordable for all budgets. We offer a range of design finishes featuring a diverse collection of original artworks for new builds and renovations.
You can select artworks by Sharron Tancred or Print Your Own Mural as Tile, Glass, Metal, Films, Wallpaper or Mosaic for walls, doors, ceilings and Pools.
We’re the first online shop, maybe in the World, to offer all of these products under one brand, made by one artist. The Mural Shop is unique as a custom art service.
How can I see your art in my space?
That is so simple. Contact us with a photo of your space and we will strip your preferred artwork into it for you.

Can I print my own art or photo?
YES! On each product page, above the artwork pictures, see the Mural Design tabs i.e. Grounded, Classic, Contemporary, Natural Modern, Beach, Asian…. and Print Your Own.
Simply, click that tab, then BUY and a new Price Calculator will pop up. Here, you can upload your image and a photo of your space. If you don’t have an image, we can research and buy one for you for a small fee. However, as discerning decorators, here’s our advice:
A) Photography in residential decors creates a more commercial aesthetic, compared to the human expression art provides
B) When you buy art, you are creating a style statement instead of following a trend that designers we know have deemed, “Out of date the day it came out.”
Still, if you want a photo, or yours or your child’s art maybe, we are more than happy to work with you.

Yes. You can book an on-site Art and Decor Planning session for the Greater Brisbane area and Sharron will visit you in-person.

Yes. In fact it is super easy. Go to the very top right corner of the website. You will see a pull-down option:

How can measure in CMs, MMs, Inches, Meters or Feet?
So easy. Click Price It on your favourite Mural Design. Then, in the Price Calculator (on every product page), use the Length Unit pull-down menu. Choose the measurement system that suits you best.

Do you have Trade Discounts or Showrooms for the Design Industry?
Yes we look after Design Industry. Book a Trade Chat available by Zoom or in-person in Brisbane to see samples and discuss pricing. We are looking for showrooms that would love a new USP to help their customers personalise their home or Airbnb.
Are you insured and what is your delivery and returns process?
Yes, we are fully insured with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. Add to this, to avoid any issues, we have a comprehensive checking process at all points. Read more.
How do you deliver your products?
Our printers deliver our products direct from their Australian bases via TNT Express and FedEx if International. Your product’s delivery cost is included in our fee. Should you require an International delivery, this is available POA. Our printers carefully box your products with foam and honeycomb cardboard and book the freight. They send us their Consignment Note which we will forward to you for tracking. From start to finish, your journey with us is a streamlined service with fast delivery.
